Day 1

We leave Geelong at 8 am and head straight to Torquay and the start of the Great Ocean Road. From there we drive to Anglesea and stop at the Point Roadnight lookout. Our first opportunity to see the road and The Great Southern Ocean. We then travel to the Memorial Arch. A site dedicated to the Returned Soldiers who with picks and shovels built the road. A brief stop at Lorne for a bathroom break and grab a coffee before heading to Apollo Bay. Stop here long enough to have a bite to eat. We then travel inland through the Otway National Park and dairy country before we head to The Shipwreck Coast.

Stopping at the many famous land marks along the coast. The 12 Apostles, Lock Ard Gorge, London Bridge, The Grotto, The Bay of Martrys, and The Bay of Islands, with a stop in Peterborough for some refreshments.

An already big day which is not quite over. Drive to Warnambool where we will check into our accommodation. ( cost of accommodation is not included) Rest for an hour or so and then head to the Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village for the Sound and Light show. (cost Included) After the show you can stroll back to the hotel or we will happily pick you up and drop you back. No doubt ready for a good nights sleep.
