The Narana Aboriginal Cultural Centre, is a truly delightful, inspiring, and hands-on learning adventure. Apart from checking out some of Australia’s favourite animals, the centre itself is an opportunity to look at the amazing array of artwork and artefacts that are on display. Many are for sale. You can even have a bite to eat and try some genuine Aussie ‘tucker’. We are here for approximately an hour.

From there we have a 20-minute drive to The Jirrahlinga Wildlife Sanctuary. Jirrahlinga means ‘Seek-a-home for a Kangaroo’. Originally starting life as a place where injured animals found refuge, it has now grown to become one of the most important centres for getting close to, and learning about all Australian Wildlife. Make sure you have your cameras ready because you will want them handy. Native animals, reptiles, birds of every description. In fact, when you travel with Geelong Tours, we guarantee that you will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s most loved animals.

If you work up a bit of an appetite, you can drop into the cafe if you would like some refreshments. We have around 1.5 hours here before we must head back to Geelong. Arriving back at Geelong Waterfront at 3pm.

*Entrance fees to the Jirrahlinga Wildlife Park are included in the cost of the tour.
