bellarine wineries & lunch
Join some other wine lovers for a taste of the Bellarine. Although famous for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, many other types of wines are made right across the Bellarine Region.
The wineries we have selected are all award-winning wineries. Other than sweet or fortified wines, the choices are considerable. You will get to taste over 30 different wines and you will also have a glass of wine of your choice with lunch.
We start the tour at the National Wool Museum at 11 am and have a 30-minute drive to the first winery. You can expect to visit The Flying Brick Cider House, Oakdene Vineyard, McGlashans Estate and Jack Rabbit Winery.
We spend approximately 1 hour at each location and return to Geelong for a drop off at 4 pm. A full 5 hours of indulgence.
You can of course buy wine to consume or take home with you should you wish.
At The Flying Brick we give you the opportunity to try their wines or the cider if you prefer. If a private function is being held at one of the above
wineries we may have to change a location. We may not be able to give notice of a change to the program.
* The cost of lunch and all tasting fees are included in the cost of the tour.
* Bottles of water are supplied on the bus
If you are in Melbourne. Why not catch the train down to Geelong Central Station (one hour journey) and we will arrange pick-up and drop-off from the station. Or if you wish to check out our beautiful city, we can drop you off at The Wool Museum and you are less than a 10-minute walk back to the station. You will need to contact us at the time of booking to arrange the pick-up.
